Because the holidays are upon us, I won’t waste time today. Here are submission opportunities through January 31, and they include, at the top of the list, a handful of opportunities that are due TOMORROW, MONDAY, DECEMBER 15.

I published these December 15 deadlines in last month’s submission opportunities, of course, but maybe you’ve procrastinated? I’m throwing them back onto this month’s listings to kick you in the butt, (“The train is leaving the station; don’t miss it!”) before you truly slide into holiday craziness. Have you got a story or a memoir piece ready to submit? Jump in TONIGHT OR TOMORROW and send it along to these last-chance opportunities.

Then on to the rest of the opportunities through the end of January..

Also check the end of the list for some ongoing opportunities - don’t ignore those. Some are from the most elite literary magazines in the country.

Happy submitting. Happy Holidays.
